Ground Effects is currently seeking an energetic and mature individual to fill the role of Accounts Payable/Office Administrator. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills and related experience.  

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • General reception duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, maintaining filing system, processing incoming/outgoing mail, and special projects as required.
  • Processing all accounts payable; substantiating transactions, reconciling statements, and preparing payments and remittance details.
  • Document control and providing administrative support for field department
  • Support staff in assigned project based work
  • Maintaing inventory of office equipment and supplies
  • Coordinationg travel arrangements; managing schedules and reservations
  • Scanning archived documentation and maintaining project files
  • Maintain office calendar and project statuses to coordinate work flow and meetings accounts 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Office Administration or Accounting certificate complemented with minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge and experience with accounting practices and principles a definite asset
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills; both written and oral
  • Punctual and reliable self-starter
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage work flow to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform the following responsibilities as a part of a multi-diciplined team with limited supervision
