Accounts Payable/Office Administrator
Ground Effects is currently seeking an energetic and mature individual to fill the role of Accounts Payable/Office Administrator. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills and related experience.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- General reception duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, maintaining filing system, processing incoming/outgoing mail, and special projects as required.
- Processing all accounts payable; substantiating transactions, reconciling statements, and preparing payments and remittance details.
- Document control and providing administrative support for field department
- Support staff in assigned project based work
- Maintaing inventory of office equipment and supplies
- Coordinationg travel arrangements; managing schedules and reservations
- Scanning archived documentation and maintaining project files
- Maintain office calendar and project statuses to coordinate work flow and meetings accounts
Skills and Requirements:
- Office Administration or Accounting certificate complemented with minimum 2 years of related experience
- Knowledge and experience with accounting practices and principles a definite asset
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication skills; both written and oral
- Punctual and reliable self-starter
- strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage work flow to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform the following responsibilities as a part of a multi-diciplined team with limited supervision
